These past few months have been busy with the team, facilitating various leadership workshops, team away days, and visiting new resorts to plan for forthcoming trips in 2020

We have teamed up with Villa College, Male, Repulic of Maldives to deliver a Leadership Workshop.
Focusing on the current challenges faced within the region, and also to provide tips on how to be ready for the growth over the coming 3-5 years
One of the largest leadership teams within the Maldives, completed a one-day workshop relating to leadership skills.
During the last few weeks, the team at Shorthouse Hospitality have been busy visiting a number of new resorts that are either in the construction or pre-opening phase. Some amazing new projects to come online. Watch this space for more details.
'Unlocking your Potential' | Leadership Workshop is growing steadily and has so far be delivered to Hotels, Resorts and Cruise Lines. In October, our 1st workshop will be delivered for a number of corporate companies in conjunction with a local college.

June | London, the Institute of Hospitality held its annual dinner and awards at the Waldorf Hilton, with over 320 Hospitality professionals, celebrating the best of the best from within the Industry.

At this years Venues & Events EXPO, South East, our founder participated in the panel discussion, representing the Hospitality Industry alongside other key note speakers. The talk focused on the Skills Gap and Women in Hospitality.
Working with the various leadership teams from Villa Hotels & Resorts, a fun engaging and interactive day was held whereby the various teams explored leadership and change management.
The second panel on “Bridging the Skills Gap & Women in Hospitality” comprised of Mariyam Noordeen, President, Chef’s Guild of Maldives; Neil Shorthouse, Founder and Chief Executive, Shorthouse Hospitality; Fathimath Shaazleen, Resort Manager, Soneva Jani; and was moderated by Mariya Shareef, Resort Manager, Summer Island Maldives.
On a rather bright, sunny but chilling day in London. A group of Hospitality Gurus, checked into HMP Brixton for a mouth watering 3 course lunch which is cooked and served by inmates who are preparing for release, along with setting them up the skills they need outside.
With over 400 students, 40 companies and industry professaionals all under roof can only mean the annual Institute of Hospitality | P4H taking place in London. A great location for students and industry professionals to network and share stories.

February 2019 | Maldives, Shorthouse Hospitality has just completed its first overseas assignment for 2019, working with the Leadership Team from Dhigali, Maldives. Over a few days of fun and interactive sesions held for the resort.
Along with hosting an open team building session for the entire resort as well. A great way to let of some steam and get to know your colleagues.
